Wolter Bijker is a Bridge Design Engineer with over 2 decades of experience specializing in concrete and post-tension bridge design. He is the co-founder of AddoSoft, where he has developed CAD rebar solutions AddoBAR for BricsCAD and AutoCAD. Wolter’s expertise is mainly in post-tension bridge and culvert design.
Ruan Venter
Senior Structural Draughtsman

Ruan Venter is a Senior Structural Draughtsman and Lead Software Architect with nearly a decade of experience in creating precise reinforcement drawings for concrete structures. At Bijker Civil Design, he specializes in bridge drafting, including site plans, general arrangements, foundation layouts, and rebar detailing—ensuring full compliance with SANRAL standards. Ruan’s expertise extends to 3D modeling and COTO quantity calculations, making him a key contributor to the design and drafting process. More recently, he has been working as the Lead Software Architect for AddoSOFT.

Ruan Erasmus is a Senior Structural Draughtsman at Bijker Civil Design with almost a decade of experience. Specializing in BricsCAD Pro and reinforcement detailing, Ruan excels in 3D modeling and Microsoft Excel. Known for his goal-oriented approach and strong organizational skills, he consistently meets deadlines while maintaining high standards. Ruan’s integrity, adaptability, and persistence make him a trusted and valuable asset to any project. He earned his National Certificate in Computer-Aided Draughting and Design from CTU Training Solutions, where he honed his technical expertise in civil design.
